What a lovely little cafe. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We had an octopus salad and a ftira plus a couple of drinks. There is a tiny little balcony with a table for 2, which we managed to get seated on, great view! Loved it!

Stumbled across this place, wow!! Amazing food and drinks. Totally recommend 2 of us had 1 latte 1 beer 1 sandwich 1 cake 17 euro!

Spent many evening strolls stopping into Chalk for coffee. Everyone is so lovely and the coffee is fabulous. Finally treated myself to their homemade brownie on our last night and it was divine! Highly recommended Chalk, even if its just to look at the beautiful facade and pick up a coffee and a treat. Almost forgot I got a pistachio Kanoli here the first night and it was a thing of beauty.

What a nice little place! Cosy, chilled atmosphere inside and the man that served me was friendly and efficient. I had the Maltese platter for one which was fresh and delicious and very filling! All washed down with a tasty glass of house white wine. I got a white chocolate and pistachio cheesecake to takeaway which was also lovely.

What a lovely cafe! We only had drinks but made a point of visiting Rabat & this place. Locals were putting up Easter lights etc & it was a beautiful cafe. I guess when the tourist season starts this coffee shop will quickly fill up but our drinks were great. Toilet was negociated down very steep steps in basement but were clean!

My wife and I popped into this small interesting local artisan cafe. A great selection of Maltese food at a good price in a very clean and rustic place. Main seating is up a narrow staircase and there is probably only seating for around 12 people at a guess. I would highly recommend the food here, but make sure you are hungry

Lovely cafe, got the looks and vibes, cozy and quirky. Cakes looked good. Ftira was a little dry but appreciate they had vegan options. Staff were friendly and attentive. Toilet was an adventure! People were complaining about it being small but it was fun. Thankfully it wasn’t smelly, like previous reviews. Please continue to keep it hygienic!

The place is rather small, upstairs there are 6 tables with chairs. The workers were kind and efficient, we had no complaints. The maltese and tuna frita were 6 euros but they are a good size, and generously filled with local food. There's a small wc downstairs. There are vegan alternatives too. Definitely recommend!
